🌿 Just like you, I’ve felt the sting of heartbreak I never saw coming and never wanted. We've all been there - in a season of brokenness we didn't anticipate - whether it’s loss, disappointment, or just feeling like life has knocked the wind out of us. When that happens, it’s easy to wonder, "Where is God in all of this?" In the middle of pain, when you feel like no one sees or understands, God is right there. He’s not watching from a distance; He’s close, walking with you, and gently reminding you that you’re not alone.
📖 “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” - Psalm 34:18
This is a promise! God doesn’t just acknowledge your pain; He draws near to heal and restore. He holds you when you feel like falling apart, whispering, You are not alone. I am here.
🛠️ Healing takes time. Here are a few helpful ways to walk through brokenness with faith found in Lysa TerKeurst's book, It's Not Supposed to Be This Way.
Even when emotions feel overwhelming, spend time in Scripture, prayer, and quiet moments with Him. Healing starts with connection.
Instead of being trapped by the pain, ask God, What do You want to teach me in this season? Let Him lead you toward healing and renewed purpose.
Find a trusted friend, mentor, or small group that will remind you of God’s faithfulness when your heart feels weary.
Healing is rarely linear, but trust that God is working, even when you can’t see the full picture yet.
💡 "The enemy wants us to feel alone and suspect that God is no longer good. But God wants us to know that He is near, and His goodness is still assured." - Lysa TerKeurst
🙏 Lord, when my heart feels shattered, help me remember that You are near. Fill the broken spaces with Your love, and give me the strength to trust You even in the unknown. Thank You for never leaving me. Amen.
